Sunday was Dr Doreen's housewarming / birthday / wedding anniversary party ; some of us colleagues literally sang, screamed, screeched, played pool till our heart's content. I guarantee so far no house can beat hers. There's even an elevator inside her place! That day was my second at singing karaoke. I don't know whether I should hope for a third, fourth, fifth, and whatever that counts. It helps to relieve all your pent up emotions, really.
Anyway, whatever it is. That's not the main point of my blogpost.
Just going into the main point ; Something really epic happened at Changi's Best World today. The water sprinkler at our company "exploded" - it's actually damaged by Mediacorp's cameramen and triggered by the chemical fumes across the office for don't know what reason. The water just wouldn't stop gushing out until two hours later, rather scary huh.
Nevertheless, here are some pictures of the flood, and cleaning up.
No one expected such a thing to happen,
but well, it happened.
On a heavy note, there will be blowers going underway from tonight (and will be continuing tomorrow) to clear the drenched carpet over the office. The best thing is, we still need to work -.- Another best thing is that we cannot use the computer. How are we going to work like that? We're heavily reliant on it, and to be honest, I really wished the HR could've given an off day, because noise is distracting, and no computers are equal to no work done. Work momentum will totally go down the slippery slope.
